Dr. Ryan Heartfield has over a decade of experience in delivering business enabling cybersecurity solutions for industries undergoing digital transformation. He has developed innovations in AI-driven approaches to threat detection, incident response, and dynamic software-defined network security for Enterprise and Operational Technology systems.
Prior to Exalens, Ryan was a senior security architect at Splunk for Security Orchestration Automation and Response, and security architect for UK Government, where he led the delivery of advanced cybersecurity operations capabilities. He has a PhD and over 20 publications in cyber security including in IEEE TIFS, ACM CSUR, and other top scientific journals.
